This product is directly related to the gastronomic tradition of our homeland, as the sponge divers of the island used to twice-bake the bread, in order to make rusks and to keep as much as possible on their long journeys. Now it has a variety of uses in our daily lives. Today, following the recipe of great-grandma Chrysanthi, we prepare the authentic Lemnos Rusks, which work extremely well as accompaniments to salads, soups, as a main meal, but also as a base for sweets.
