The twice-baked rusks of Lemnos are the most famous and beloved product of the Poriazi Family, with a history that dates back to 1919. This product is directly related to the gastronomic tradition of our homeland, as the sponge divers of the island used to twice-bake the bread, in order to make rusks and to keep as much as possible on their long journeys. Now it has a variety of uses in our daily lives. Today, following the recipe of great-grandma Chrysanthi, we prepare the authentic Lemnos Rusks, which work extremely well as accompaniments to salads, soups, as a main meal, but also as a base for sweets. We have a rich variety of products, with emphasis on simplicity and rich taste that comes from the fine raw materials, all from the island of Lemnos.
